Hi! My name is Shannon McGill, and I am a sophomore at McMurtry College. I am from Friendswood, Texas, and I am majoring in bioengineering. I am on the Emerging Servant Leadership Team with Cru, and I send the weekly Cru emails. My favorite part of Cru is the amazing community fostered at Life Groups, Agape and socials. The community has helped me strengthen my relationship with God, and they have supported me as I walk through life as a Christian at Rice. Howdy! My name is Connor Hughes, and I am a senior at Baker College majoring in Sport Management Analytics and Managerial Studies with a Business minor. I’ve had a great experience being a part of Cru since my freshman year, and my favorite part has been the challenges I’ve been a part of through this community. It’s not easy to be a Rice student/student-athlete and having a community that can push you to prioritize the Lord and those around you in a self-centered world has been a blessing in my life. Hello! My name is Rhea Cho, and I’m a sophomore at Duncan College majoring in Cognitive Sciences as a premed student. I first became involved with Cru during the summer before my freshman year. Through attending life group and Agape, I’ve been able to strengthen my relationship with God, experience Christ-centered community, and meet some amazing people.
